Kylie Jenner BREAKS Met Gala's No Selfie Rule With Star-Studded Bathroom Pic

So if by any chance you needed to take a bathroom break during last night’s Met Gala, you may have accidentally stumbled into the VIP lounge…
There are no rules when it comes to fashion at the Met Gala, but leave it to Kylie Jenner to break the ONE cardinal rule of the evening… but let’s be real – if you don’t Instagram, did it really happen?
Although the Met Gala’s ‘no social media’ policy was implemented in 2015, that didn’t stop Kylie from snapping a prestigious mirror selfie, circa Myspace 2005, that would soon end up as the internet’s top-trending photo. Many other faces to grace Kylie’s annual bathroom selfie included Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian, Lily Aldridge, Chambers Hammer, ASAP Rocky, Diddy, Paris Jackson, Brie Larson and Frank Ocean among many others.
Aside from Kylie, the others took this probable once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to squeeze in a shot of their own from different angles, while Brie captioned her photo, “I needed to go to the bathroom and ended up famous.” Elizabeth Chambers Hammer summed it all up perfectly, writing on her photo QUOTE, “Ain't no party like a restroom party.”
So although the ‘no social media’ rule “solely had to do with guests’ security and enjoyment of the event,” many other celebs decided to rebel, including Nick Jonas and Halle Berry who Snapchatted videos from Katy Perry’s performance, as well as Paris Jackson, who posted a photo to her Snapchat in the restroom with pals Bella Hadid, Ruby Rose and Lara Stone who clearly DGAF-ed the museum’s ‘no smoking’ rule.
Well clearly last night’s theme was ‘anything goes’ because these celebs were all shameless in their social media efforts, but if not for their epic selfies and behind-the-scenes videos, we’d really just have nothing to live for.
