Lady Gaga Confuses Gay Pride Parade With Mariachi Festival?

Folks are speculating that Gaga may have gotten her parades mixed but Gaga says she knows exactly what she was posting about
While in Chicago on Monday, Gaga posted a photo taken on the balcony of her apartment where she was sporting the words “Gay Pride written across her chest and stomach with the caption – “Watching over Chicago Pride from my apartment and smiling so big. So many happy people. Happy pride!!#lovewins”
So whats all the fuss about? Well, apparently, some folks online pointed out that Gaga was actually looking out over the Mariachi and Folklorico Festival, and NOT the Gay Pride Parade.
Gaga also posted another photo saying - This is just about the coolest things I ever saw. It feels good to know how many of my friends and loved ones are out celebrating and feeling valued.#lovewins
To her defense: Both events were happening at the same time, just in different parts of the city.
The Mariachi Heritage Foundation took it in stride and had a little fun with some photoshop by altering Gaga’s photo to be more appropriate for the occasion. They changed the word “Gay” to “Mariachi” on her chest, topped her head with a sombrero, and added the hashtag, GagaHasMariachiPride.
But when Times tweeted out that Gaga was confused, Gaga was like: CLIP
And replied to Times’ tweet saying– “I am proud in general and did not mistake anything I spent the entire day riding around the city seeing people celebrate.”
