An estimated 300 people turned up for the funeral of S Sathiswaran, a 15-year-old boy who was killed after being struck by a falling office chair at the Sri Pantai public housing scheme.
Some of Sathiswaran's schoolmates from SMK La Salle were also among those in attendance. He was laid to rest at the MBPJ Damansara Hindu cemetery.
Police have classified the case as murder. If charged, the culprit will face the mandatory death sentence.
