A lot of my subscribers always ask me to learn Turkish so I decided to learn some Turkish phrases. I have already learned a lot about Turkish music and Turkish culture so I thought it would be great to learn some of the language as well.

I found this article online (https://matadornetwork.com/abroad/30-awesome-turkish-expressions/) which has phrases called ata sözü. This translates in English to "words of our ancestors".

I thought that would be a cool and interesting place to start. I am not sure if people use these, so please let me know. I found them really nice to say and it was good to learn something different from the normal language that people would learn.

Learning Turkish is very enjoyable and it is a really beautiful language. I hope I can learn more before I come to Turkey.
