Former International Trade and Industry minister Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz urged Malaysians to look at a bigger picture and unite as Malaysians.
Speaking to reporters after the Women In Rail Malaysia Leadership Conference in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, she asked Malaysians to cast the differences aside and focus on building a better nation.
On July 5, Dr Mahathir called for all Malays, especially Umno members, to come together under the umbrella of Bersatu for the sake of unity.
