PSM Cameron Highlands has asked Bukit Aman to allow a small group of residents in Pahang to meet Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob over land rights issues on Dec 12th.
PSM Cameron Highlands secretary Suresh Kumar said in 2012, 31 people were arrested while waiting for an appointment to meet the Menteri Besar.
The group had gathered to protest after not getting any response to 15 memoranda that they had addressed to Adnan on problems related to land and welfare that they faced.
Some of the complainants were farmers who have not been re-issued with temporary operating licences (TOL) although they have been working on the land for 40 years.
