Malaysia will continue to fight for the freedom of Palestine despite receiving threats from other countries for doing so, said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar said Malaysia remained firm in championing the fate of Palestinians because the struggle was a responsibility that had to be undertaken.

There were European MPs who proposed this (action) against Malaysia. It's not a problem; let's not be deterred. We have work to do. Insya-Allah, we will continue with our work, he said.
