When news first broke that a Life Size 2 was happening back in 2015, the Internet just about imploded.
Today brings the official word that the sequel to the 2000 flick has officially been greenlit at Freeform.
Tyra Banks took to her to Twitter to once again break the Internet writing "One word: LIFESIZE. Oops...2 words. “LIFESIZE 2.”
Aaaand cue the hysteria! Yes, our favorite doll, Eve, is being played by Tyra Banks, because nobody has that HUNDRED WATT SMILE like Tyra.
Back in 2015, she had told Variety QUOTE
"There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much! I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve."
No, but seriously though. Now the only question left is Will we see Lindsay Logan in the film?! After all, it was Lindsay's character, , who woke Eve up from her doll-state in the original film. In fact, there would have been NO LIFE SIZE EVE if BLANK wasn't trying to resurrect her mother. Ugh, this movie really brings out all the feelings doesn't it? Well, if it were up to Tyra Banks, Lindsay would definitely be involed in one way or another. In a recent interview with E! News, Tyra had a very genuine invite for Lilo.
WILL YOU, LINDSAY? And while we work on a cameo for Linds, let’s work on locking down another huge celeb for the leading role- Zendaya. Tyra Banks told ET at the Freeform Upfronts that she has her sights set on our girl, Z, saying QUOTE ““I would love Zendaya,” she shared. “I think Zendaya would be really interesting.”
This time around, Eve is once again woken up just in time to help a girl deal with life and love during the holiday season, so yes, you can expect to see Life Size 2 during Freeform's 25 days of Christmas in December of 2018.
