MCA president Liow Tiong Lai says the party does not need lessons from Tourism and Culture Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz on how to play its role.
Liow explained that MCA knows its role very well.
Liow was responding to comments made by Nazri that it is DAP and not MCA which represents the voice of the Chinese community at present.
Previously, MCA leaders accused Nazri of doing them and BN a disservice, claiming that the minister’s attack on a respected business magnate would irk the Chinese community and benefit DAP.
Nazri had also called MCA a “crybaby” for discussing the issue of Robert Kuok with Prime Minister Najib Razak.
