Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam has now claimed that it would be "a waste of time" to file a suit against MACC chief Shukri Abdull over claims of alleged prejudice in investigations linked to former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.
He was responding to Shukri, who last Saturday reportedly said critics of the ongoing investigations were welcome to lodge police reports or file a civil suit against him.
Lokman, as president of the NGO Pemantau Malaysia Baru, had previously lodged a police report against Shukri for lying about the charges against Najib.
