This is a travel video documenting the crazy Loony Dook Event Festival held at Queensferry - Edinburgh, Scotland to celebrate 2014. This Hogmanay celebration involved people dressing up in crazy costumes parading out to the freezing cold water to splash around and have a swim. From Little Red Riding Hood to the man wrapped in bubble tape there were many creative and crazy costumes. One of the funniest costumes was a mankini worn by a tanned and very fit man thrusting his pelvis. Overall it was an incredible event.

So this morning we are at the Loony Dook and it's a bit of tradition here in Scotland that the day of New Years people jump into the freezing waters of the Firth of Forth and it's all to raise money for charity. So we're going to watch them do that. Are you going to do it? No way!

So there is a man wrapped up in bubble wrap that nearly floated away. The rescue team
picked him up in the water.

So that was one of the coolest, craziest and I must say zaniest events I've ever seen.

I'm glad that I was behind the lens and didn't go into the water. Everyone looks freezing cold right now.
