Sometimes we get back by getting even, and that’s exactly the case for Louis and Niall, who plan on destroying their haters in the form battle… rap battle, that is…
The former One Direction band mates have found themselves in the middle of an unfortunate messaging mishap, when they began receiving ‘disgusting’ messages via the phone app What’sApp. The boys took to Twitter just yesterday to complain about the serious invasion of privacy, and as a result, have been forced to change their phone numbers.
Louis informed his 23 million+ followers that it was QUOTE, “Time to change my number .. Getting some disgusting stuff on what's app... Losers !” Niall quickly chimed in, also a victim of the hate comments, writing, “@Louis_Tomlinson me too mate . Horrific Some of the things people are saying.”
But not all series’ of unfortunate events end in complete doom… the boys were able to find a light at the end of the tunnel, and a solution all Directioners would only dream of witnessing. Louis then had the bright idea to shut down the haters in the form of a rap battle, writing back to Niall, QUOTE, “@NiallOfficial maybe we should challenge them to a rap battle and destroy them in 64 bars ?”
Niall joked back that the rap battle would almost be unfair, saying, “That would be way too strong ! Would take us less than 64 bars , we're sooooo good.” Uhm, petition to make this an actual thing, everyone please show of hands!
Lucky for us, with Twitter being a PUBLIC platform and all, The Late Late Show With James Corden’s exec producer Ben Winston caught wind of the problem, and challenged the boys to an actual rap battle on TBS’ upcoming show ‘Drop The Mic’. He tweeted out QUOTE, “@Louis_Tomlinson @NiallOfficial good idea. Then we can put it on Drop the mic - new show coming to @TBSNetwork.”
Niall, who seems like he may take TBS’ offer up for consideration, wrote back, “See what ya did there Ben.” Many celebs have already made appearances on The Late Late Show’s ‘Drop The Mic’ segment, including Rebel Wilson, Anne Hathaway, Kevin Hart, David Schwimmer to name a few, so it’s safe to say all of us Directioners will be patiently waiting for the day the boybanders turn rap GODS.
