MALAYSIAN MALDIVES?? TIOMAN ISLAND VLOG (STAYING AT TUNAMAYA BEACH AND SPA RESORT)

This travel vlog shows my stay in the Maldives of Malaysia, Tioman Island. Or Pulau Tioman as the locals would say.

Tioman is a beautiful island on the South East of Malaysia. To get here you have to take the ferry from a town called Mersing. The ferry journey is around 2 hours. To get to Mersing from Kuala Lumpur will take between 4-5 hours to drive.

During my stay I stayed at the Tunamaya Beach and Spa Resort. It is a wonderful resort that has everything to make your holiday perfect. I stayed in a garden villa which was a good size and very comfortable. The food served in the restaurant was of the highest quality with a nice mix of Asian, Malaysian and Western food. There were many activities to do at the hotel including hiking, snorkelling, pizza making and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the beach.

Tioman is a lot less commercialised than a lot of islands I have been to around Asia. It is quiet and relaxing with some of the most beautiful colours I have seen (vibrant blue waters, bright white beaches and a lot of luscious greenery).
