Budget 2022 is the biggest budget in Malaysian history at RM322.1 billion, aimed at restarting Malaysia's economy in time to embrace a post-pandemic new normal.
In its many allocations, Budget 2022 is described as a disaster recovery budget. However what could have been allocated better?
We speak to economist Dr Woo Wing Thye to help us understand who will benefit from the disaster relief measures and how Budget 2022 could do better with a little tweaking.
