Maszlee Malik resigned as Education Minister yesterday, just two days after Malaysiakini published the results of its survey on the performance of all 28 members of cabinet.
In the 7-day poll conducted last month, over five thousand valid votes were counted, and Maszlee came out second last.
According to the Malaysiakini poll, Maszlee was not alone at the second worst position. He shared the position with Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi.
However, unlike Maszlee, the Warisan MP is confident he’d be keeping is job.
