Amanah President Mohamad Sabu expressed perplexity regarding why certain individuals within the Malay community continue to cast their votes for PAS, despite having been repeatedly deceived by the party.
Speaking at the Madani Unity Tour in Penang last night, which witnessed a significant turnout, Sabu nonetheless urged party leaders and operatives not to be overly exhilarated by large audience numbers at talks throughout the state election campaign.
Mohamad stated that candidates should not underestimate their opponents, given the final week of the state election campaign period will determine voters' direction.
The voting day for the state elections is set for August 12, with candidate nominations slated for July 29.
