Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu has dismissed the need for his aide to go on leave pending a MACC investigation.
Yesterday, Malaysiakini reported that Amanah leaders are expected to raise the issue at a leadership meeting next month, and press for the aide to go on leave.
MACC is investigating the aide's bankruptcy status being settled, with payments amounting to RM800,000 being made by various quarters several days after Mohamad was sworn in as defence minister.
