MCA secretary-general Chong Sin Woon today refused to comment on Umno's decision to terminate its political partnership with Bersatu and Perikatan Nasional once GE15 comes around, because the current focus should be on fighting Covid-19.

Speaking to reporters this morning, he said political issues should put aside for the time being.

Meanwhile, Bersatu has since accepted Umno’s decision and said it will focus on strengthening ties with its other PN partners like PAS, Gerakan and Star.
