MCA has urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to relinquish his Finance Ministry position to focus on administering the country or alternatively appoint a second finance minister who could focus on economic matters.

MCA's spokesperson Mike Chong also proposed that Anwar should remove Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli and Agriculture and Food Security Minister Mohamad Sabu for supposedly courting controversy and failing to perform their duties.
