Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil, stated that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will be having a meeting with Telegram today regarding several cybersecurity issues.

Earlier, Fahmi mentioned that they have received numerous complaints regarding the content and misuse of the application, which is a cause for concern.
