It was a big night for Meghan Trainor who not only died her hair brown, but also won and cried during her speech for best new artist.
Que ALL the feels, I think it’s safe to say Meghan won’t be singing her track “Like I’m gonna lose you” on her way home, tonight.
It was indeed a moment to remember for the “Lips Are Moving” singer who took home the award for best new artist at the 58th annual Grammy awards. Last year’s winner Sam Smith presented Meghan with the award who was in tears from the moment she got to the microphone.
people… The "All About That Bass" beauty beat out Sam Hunt, James Bay, Tori Kelly ANDD Courtney Barnett for the title of best new artist and I have to say it’s well deserved! Although the category was jam packed with AMAZING talent, and personally my head would spin round and round before I’d be able to make a decision myself.
Before taking home the Grammy, Trainor, was spotted, sporting her new darker 'do, while chatting with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet with E!. When he asked her about her next album… Specifically about when we can all expect it to be available for pre-order. Meghan gushed saying QUOTE: "I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, around March 4, the pre-order will start."

During the show Trainor joined Demi Lovato, John Legend, Luke Bryan and Tyrese on stage for a tribute to Lionel Richie.
