You guys, Sylvia Wilson is a real-life hero.
This college student is living proof that anything is possible. 21-year-old Sylvia Wilson found out that Michael B. Jordan was on her campus filming scenes for Creed II. And what did she do next? What any hopeful fan would do, she took her shot and DMed him on Instagram. And it worked. Michael met up with Sylvia and her friends at Temple University. It doesn’t hurt that Sylvia is a stunning pre-law student.
Sylvia posted a series of adorable black and white photos on her twitter writing, “so I slid in his DM’s, and then this happened.” Fans are clearly inspired by this act of bravery as the tweet is getting thousands of likes and retweets.
Sylvia told E! News that it was her athletic advisor that’s the real hero here. He told Sylvia that Michael was on campus, and it was her idea was to offer to bring him a smoothie in exchange for a photo. A fair swap, if you ask us. Sylvia says she freaked out when Michael replied and that he was down to meet up. Ever the gentleman, he declined the smoothie and offered to take photos with her (and her friends) anyway. Sylvia explained that Michael kept responding to her as she navigated her way through the film’s security. “He was so sweet and nice. He was more than happy to take pictures with me and my friends that came with me!”
The saying “shoot for the stars” has now taken on new meaning. Sylvia is no doubt inspiring fans everywhere. And what are fans dying to know? What Michael smells like. Spoiler: Sylvia says it’s “Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works but better.”
