Mier executive director Professor Emeritus Dr Zakariah Abdul Rashid said The Malaysian Institute of Economic Research has maintained a 4.2% gross domestic product growth for 2016, and is expecting the government to announce a mild expansionary budget this Friday to boost domestic demand.
