Miley has been stressing out over her wedding plans, so what better way to take a break from all the frustrations than by writing a dramatic, yet romantic play with Liam?
Wedding planning hasn’t always been Miley and Liam’s strong suit. The couple cancelled their reported summer wedding plans earlier this year and even though a source told Us Weekly that Miley and Liam are hoping to say ‘I do’ in the fall, the two have been focusing less on their wedding and more on play writing.
According to a source close to Miley, they revealed that Miley and Liam have been putting their efforts towards a collaborative play. The source told Us Weekly that the lovebirds have been QUOTE “writing a script for a play together. It’s a dramatic love story.” It’s safe to say that Miley and Liam have a lot of experience in that department.
However, even with their wedding plans on hold, Miley has no intentions on dishing about anything wedding or marriage related. During her interview on the Today show, the singer pretty much kept quiet on anything Liam related. When Savannah Guthrie asked Miles about the engagement ring Liam gave her a couple years ago, the singer simply said QUOTE, ‘I didn’t pick this out.’
Talk about sticking to your guns and not talking about the love of your life at all! While Miley said nothing about Liam, the singer couldn’t help but talk about her red carpet boycott. After revealing in Elle’s October issue that she doesn’t plan on posing on carpets any time soon, Miley reiterated her comments on the Today show.
She said QUOTE, ‘It’s really not about the color of the carpet. It’s more about, especially women, we get yelled at to blow them a kiss, and I don’t feel like blowing you a kiss. [The photographers] yell, ‘Blow us a kiss!’ Like, what is going on? Who are you? And then you’re kind of just putting yourself out there for people to talk. I don’t want people to talk about what I’m wearing. That’s usually why I don’t wear too much, but they make me wear clothes on The Voice and on the Today show, so this is what I chose.”
Miley may not be hitting up red carpets any time soon, but if and when her play with Liam becomes a thing, she’ll probably make an exception and pose for a few pictures on her big night.
