If there’s one thing Miley and Liam are good at, it’s keeping us guessing when it comes to the status of their engagement.
Miley and Liam were spotted having lunch with Liam’s parents in Byron Bay, Australia this week, and yes--Miley was wearing her engagement ring.
Despite the fact that Liam recently told TV Week Australia QUOTE, “I am not engaged, no,” that hasn’t stopped Miley from sporting the huge rock everywhere she goes lately, including while out to a casual lunch on Thursday with Liam and his parents, or out shopping with Liam’s sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, later that night.
So are these two on the same page, or what? Was Liam just saying he’s not engaged to draw less attention to his relationship? According to sources at Us Weekly, Miley is currently planning a summer wedding, with her mom Tish helping to organize. While we really hope that’s true because we love them together, at this point we just hope they figure it out either way! We can’t live in this limbo of not knowing anymore! But of course, their happiness is the most important thing and it sounds like whatever is going on between them right now, it’s all good.
Miley and Liam got back together in December last year after breaking off their engagement in 2013. Earlier this year Miley moved back in with Liam and started wearing the engagement ring he had previously given her before the split, which made all of us think the wedding is definitely back on. But for now the only thing we can do is wait and see if Liam starts wearing a ring of his own in the next few months, or at least retracts that whole “I’m not engaged” thing. Look, just get on the same page you two! That’s all we’re asking! That and an invite to the wedding. But that’s it!
