What a star-studded year it’s been for Millie, but even Stranger Things stars sometimes aren’t prepared for actual strange things to happen.
You know you’ve made it in life when you write in to Ellen Degeneres time and time again, only to be asked on three years later. Thankfully Millie Bobby Brown got to live out her dreams of being on Ellen just this week, when she made her debut appearance and it was all kinds of adorable.
Ellen praises Millie for her non-verbal role in the hit Netflix series, but Millie seemed to be even better about giving NO spoilers away…
Millie then talked about meeting new people in the industry, like Dance Moms star and Sia music video maven Maddie Ziegler, saying QUOTE, “She is my best friend, actually. We’ve only known each other for about five months now, and the first time I met her — I am such a big fan of Dance Moms and her in general, she’s so inspiring to me — and so when I met her, obviously I started crying.” She also gushed about her very first sleepover with Maddie, which was undoubtedly one memory she’ll never forget, in one way or another…
Clearly due to that traumatic experience and other events that occurred within their five months of friendship, like witnessing the chaos that is The Grove, as Millie also stated, these two are on their way to building a lifelong friendship.
But before I leave you, I do have to mention that although Millie wouldn’t budge when sharing spoilers with Ellen, but she did reveal one small bit of info. If you tuned into the Golden Globes on Sunday, you probably witnessed Jimmy Fallon’s opening act that featured the infamous Barb from Stranger Things making a hilarious cameo. Many took that as a sign that Barb is not actually killed off from the series, but Millie did let it be known that QUOTE, “No, she’s not alive!”
Ok, so I didn’t meant to kick you when you’re all probably still mourning the loss of Barb, but we do know she will not be a forgotten character come season two, because as Millie’s costar David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, revealed, “There will be justice for Barb.”
It looks like we’ve still got LOTS to look forward to, but we’re just gonna have to wait until the release of season two to find out. In the meantime, share all your thoughts on Millie’s interview with Ellen right down here in the comments, along with all your predictions for the next season of Stranger Things, and after that, click right over here to check out all the Stranger kids spitting a sick rap during the Globes opening number.
