Millie Bobby Brown SHUTS DOWN Bullies After Quitting Twitter At 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Millie Bobby Brown spoke loud and clear after her win at the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards.
She couldn’t have said it better, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say it”.
The Stranger Things actress took home the award for ‘Best Performance in a Show’ and used her acceptance speech to denounce bullying. She sent a video message where she explained that she was stuck back home in Atlanta following doctors orders after her knee injury. Millie thanked all of her fans for all of their support mentioning that playing Eleven changed her life in the most incredible ways. The 14-year old actress went on to thank her cast mates, Netflix and everyone involved in the production. She also voiced her thoughts on bullying with the following supportive message to her fans…
“There should be no space in this world for bullying, and I’m not going to tolerate it, and neither should any of you. If you need a reminder of how worthy you are, and to rise above the hate, message me on instagram. Thanks again MTV.”
Her comments came on the heels of her deleting her main Twitter account after she was bombarded with overlaid photos of her with homophobic messages.
Her fans did come out to her defense, one tweeting QUOTE- “A 14 year old child should not have to ask people to stop using her as the face of a homophobic meme. The lack of respect for her feelings is crazy. Not only could this damage her reputation if anyone believes this but I can’t imagine the heartache she feels.”
Another user wrote, “It’s a sad day when a 14 year old star has to delete her Twitter because of being taunted by ridiculous, unfunny and offensive memes. Sometimes I hate social media #Shameonyouinternet
Millie’s clapback was the best thing I’ve seen all week, I hope she brushes off all of the ridiculousness and returns to twitter.
