Police will be taking action against the organiser and attendees of a wedding ceremony believed to have taken place within a Hindu temple in Seri Kembangan, Selangor yesterday.
This followed a turnaround when police, which had initially stated the wedding depicted in a viral video did not take place, later stated the temple management admitted to it.
Speaking to the press, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the wedding violated the standard operating procedure set by the government concerning the operations of non-Muslim places of worship.
