The cabinet has decided to bar ministers and deputy ministers from issuing support letters for government projects and matters with financial implications, Education Minister Maszlee Malik said.
"This is for good governance. This (issuing such letters) was often practised in the past and it led to abuse of power and so on," Maszlee said at a press conference in Putrajaya today.
