The Magistrate's Court in Putrajaya today remanded a 59-year-old secretary-general of a ministry and his two sons for seven days.
The high-ranking government official arrived at 9.38am with his sons, aged 34 and 29 respectively.
It is understood that the secretary-general, who was picked up at his house yesterday, is being investigated for various offences, including abuse of power, gratification and also money-laundering.
Meanwhile, his sons are being investigated as accomplices.
