Seputeh MP Teresa Kok has commended Malaysians for taking the initiative to raise funds to help reduce the country's RM1 trillion debt burden.
She said the Tabung Harapan was not originally planned by the government, it was set up after the public started raising funds to help save the country and make it easier for them to contribute to the cause and to prevent scams.
