Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak must drop Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin as a candidate for the coming general election if he is sincere about empowering women, said a DAP lawmaker.
Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching, in a statement, also urged Bung to immediately retract his remarks and apologise.
She was referring to Bung adding a naked twist to the headscarf ban issue when debating the Budget 2018 in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
