Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin today criticised the Communications and Multimedia Ministry for branding reports about corruption in 1MDB as "fake news".
He was responding to Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Jailani Johari (below) who yesterday warned that action would be taken against "fake news" about 1MDB.
Among the media he claimed were publishing "fake news" about 1MDB were The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, The Economist, the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC) and MSNBC.
