Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin has welcomed former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's remark on working together for the Malay cause.
"I realise that the latest political developments have put the Malays and Islam in the country at a crossroads.
"Thus, as a Muslim, I personally am willing to work with any Malay-Muslim leader, including Tun Dr Mahathir, to champion the race, religion, and country," Muhyiddin said in a brief statement posted on his Facebook today.
