Bersatu deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir has not ruled out setting his sights on the prime minister's post, arguing that all politicians aspire to rise up the hierarchy.
However, the son of former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad told the Kuala Lumpur High Court this morning that it must be done in the proper manner.
"I, too, wish to be a leader. But, this must be via a truthful and transparent path, instead of lies, complots, evil or secret pacts," he said.
