Former Sarawak lawmaker Mutang Tagal has been sworn in as the new Senate president.
The former Bukit Mas MP who is of Lun Bawang descent, is the first Dayak to hold this office.
The Dewan Negara president post became vacant after Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar resigned last month to become the Sarawak governor.
