The High Court in Kuala Lumpur has granted Najib Abdul Razak a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) over three money laundering charges.
On Jan 28, the former premier was slapped with the three additional charges under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001 (Amlatfa).
Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali made the order after allowing attorney-general Tommy Thomas' application for a DNAA for the three charges.
"In view of the request by the public prosecutor, I order that the accused be discharged of the three additional charges not amounting to an acquittal,” said the judge.
