Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the reclamation of three man-made islands measuring 1,800ha on the south coast of the island must put the local community’s interest above the rest.
He said the Federal Government would not support the project if the state government fails to fulfil three criteria for the project known as Penang South Reclamation Scheme.
