Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak in his Budget 2018 speech said Pulau Pangkor in Perak to be a tax-free zone, but this does not include alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and vehicles.
This is the most expensive budget in history, ahead of a crucial general election that must be called by the middle of next year.
