Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak is simply trying to divert attention away from the 1MDB scandal, claimed DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang.
"I can now understand why Najib is making numerous Facebook postings every day, which is clearly an attempt to distract and divert attention from the 1MDB scandal.
"In particular (Najib is trying to distract from) the US Department of Justice (DOJ) 1MDB filings unsealed in a court in New York last Thursday," Lim said in a statement.
Lim was referring to the charge sheets filed by the DOJ against former Goldman Sachs bankers Tim Leissner, Roger Ng, and fugitive businessperson Jho Low.
