Rapper Namewee has been released on bail after the expiry of his four-day remand order to facilitate investigations into his “Like a Dog” music video.
Namewee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, was released from the Dang Wangi district police station around 1.45pm today.
Inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun stated earlier today that investigation papers on this case will be sent to the Deputy Public Prosecutor’s office for further action.
