Niall Horan Calls Out Online Abuse & Addresses Solo Rumors

In a series of tweets Horan describes the abusive messages he’s been receiving form a group of so-called 1D fans that he admits drowned his phone and kept him awake at night.
The artist says the messages QUOTE “ [Say] things you wouldn't even believe about me and my family” and even his little nephew.
He didn't get into specifics about what the exact content of the messages is, or why they’ve been sending them. But he explains that he wants to bring attention to the issue because QUOTE "I just think it's crazy how we let people away with things like this."
And then he tweeted something that broke all of our hearts a little bit, writing “And the sad thing is . As I tweet this they are in the group chat laughing at me”
Niall said that he’s carefree and not to worry about him, but he wanted to bring attention to the situation because it is happening to other people as well. Most recently, Justin Bieber cut off fans from meet-and-greets and taking photos, explaining that it felt dehumanizing.
But as for what Niall is up to during 1D’s temporary hiatus, there is some evidence
that Niall may be pursuing a solo music career. Wayne Hector, who wrote a ton of of 1D hits, including “Steal My Girl,” “Best Song Ever,” recently confirmed that he and Niall are collaborating again. Hector told The Daily Star QUOTE “We are writing together but he wants to do it for himself and not other people at the moment,” but reportedly no one knows where the music will end up.
Niall has registered a new track via ASCAP called “Don’t Give Up On Our Love,” which he co-wrote so the reign of solo Niall Horan may begin soon…or not. But the possibility is exciting.
