BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the coalition's victory in the Pelangai by-election showed that there is no 'green wave' in Pahang.

Zahid said that instead it was a blue and red wave.

The Election Commission had earlier announced that Amizar Abu Adam has retained the Pelangai seat for BN.
