Since dissolving Parliament at this juncture would be a waste of time as well as inconvenience the people, Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi said Perikatan Nasional has one option.

“Which is to use the 'tebuk atap' (backdoor) approach. We challenge PN to coax any of the parties in the coalition government to ‘pull the plug’ if it is true the government is divided,” he said.

Puad was responding to Bersatu information chief Razali Idris who challenged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to call for fresh polls to test his mandate.
