PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari has come to Abdul Hadi Awang’s defence after the PAS president recently shared that he met Prophet Muhammad in a dream, with the former emphasising that belief in it is optional.

He described Hadi’s recounting of the dream as just a “familial” sharing from a “father” to his “children” in PAS.

“When Hadi shared his dream about meeting the Prophet - who commanded him to strengthen the unity of Muslims - it’s entirely up to you whether you want to believe it or not; no one is forcing you," he said.
