Did Miley and Liam finally secretly tie the knot? Fans are freaking out over one pic that set the wedding rumors flying...
Hold up! Before you start frantically Googling “Miam Wedding”--listen up, ‘cause Noah Cyrus is shutting down this rumor train before it even leaves the station.
It all started last week when Billy Ray Cyrus posted a picture of Miley smiling brightly while wearing a white dress, along with the caption “I'm so happy...you are happy @mileycyrus.”
This naturally sent tongues wagging, because ever since Miley started wearing her engagement ring again fans have been on the lookout for any hints or clues that she and Liam have secretly tied the knot. After all, the Miley and Liam are notoriously private as far as high-profile celeb couples go, so it wouldn’t be that surprising to find out that they pulled off one of those crazy secret celeb weddings where we don’t find out they’re married until weeks or even months later. But despite Billy Ray’s seemingly cryptic Instagram clue, Miley’s sister Noah was quick to shut the rumor mill down.
While chatting with Entertainment Tonight at the Kids Choice Awards, Noah simply said QUOTE, “She’s not married.” And when asked what she thought Miley was doing in the white dress photo, she added QUOTE, “probably just doing something fun” . Okay, well when you put it THAT way...yeah, we were all WAY too quick to make the wedding connection with that photo.
And after realizing the fan frenzy he’d caused, Billy Ray posted a follow-up picture of Miley with the caption, “Whoa! Don't jump the gun...Glad to see so many love @MileyCyrus the same as I do #happy." I mean, the whole thing was such a typical clueless “Dad move” that we can’t even be mad at the guy for getting us all worked up like that.
