Dewan Rakyat speaker Datuk Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof on Tuesday upheld his deputy Nga Kor Ming’s decision to suspend Tanjung Karang MP Tan Sri Noh Omar from Parliament for three days.
When met by reporters, Noh said he respected Mohamad Ariff's decision, not Nga's as the latter made the ruling when the senior Umno lawmaker was absent from the House.
He added that he will not retract his statement that Nga was an unfit deputy speaker.
