Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said efforts by the Sabah authorities who successfully foiled a kidnapping attempt off Semporna on Thursday, proves how alert the Malaysian policemen are when it comes to kidnapping issues. Meanwhile, Philippine officials said an Abu Sayyaf leader was among the three Filipino men killed.
