The criminal trial of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak involving the alleged misappropriation of funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd entered its 49th day today at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur.
Former AmBank relationship manager Joanna Yu told the court that RM606.51 million was deposited and spent by Najib involving his three bank accounts over a period of three years. Joanna said this when re-examined by prosecutor V Sithambaran on the total money used by the accused between 2013 and 2015.
It was also revealed that Low Taek Jho referred to Najib as 'Optimus Prime'.
