This is a tour to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center in Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. Visitors can gather at a viewing platform about 15 Meters away from orangutan and see orangutans enjoying free food from the center during the feeding time at 10am and 3pm every day. 760 orangutans have been admitted to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center since its establishment in 1964, and 66% of them were successfully released to the wild after the rehabilitation program. The food is meant to be a supplementary to these orangutans. They would not come if they can live independently in the rainforest.
